Central Zone Basketball League (Cezobal) will on Wednesday host two preseason tournaments at Africa Bible College (ABC) court.
The tournaments have been dubbed as Jack Up N Jump Around and Hoops.
Jack Up N Jump Around is for the men’s senior teams while Hoops is for women teams.
According to league vice-general secretary Lisungu Banda, the two events are meant to give teams chance to assess their players before the season starts early next month.
Six teams have been drawn into two pools in the men’s tournament.
Pool A has hosts ABC Lions, Trojans and Alliance One while Pool B has Cougars, Central Knights and Disciples.
Hoops tournament has ABC Lady Lions and the newly formed Angels.
According to tomorrow’s fixture, Cougars face Central Knights in first game of the evening at 6pm to be followed by a game between league champions ABC Lions and Trojans.
