CFAO SA group signs VW franchise dealership

CFAO SA, France, recently signed the first joint venture within CFAO automotive with Volkswagen Group and Porsche Holding Salzburg at a ceremony held in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda are amongst the six countries that will begin the importation and distribution of VW passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
This means that CFAO is now the franchise holder of VW in Malawi, taking over from Automotive Products Limited (APL).
The franchise dealership was signed by Alain Favey, chief executive officer of Porshe Holding Salzburg, Jan Utermarck, VW head of sales CIS, Middle East and Africa and Richard Bielle, chairperson of CFAO SA management board.
