“It’s not done yet. I think, we can score goals here and go further. We are playing at home and our supporters will be behind us,” he insisted.

Last year, Chad played Malawi for the 2013 African Cup of Nations. The hosts won the first leg 3-2, but The Flames reversed the results winning 2-0 in Blantyre to qualify for the final qualifying round with 4-1 aggregate.

Tregoat is relying on strikers Mahamat Labbo, Karl Barthelemy and Ezechiel N’Douassel.

Flames defence of John Lanjesi, Francis Mlimbika and Moses Chavula should be alert to stop these dangerous strikers.
Young Chimodzi knows well that Malawians expect nothing short of victory.

“It is important that we get an early goal to put them under pressure. We have the mentality and the players to win us the game. It won’t be easy of course, but we will give it our best,” said Chimodzi.

All eyes will be on Gabadinho Mhango whose two goals did the damage to Chad.

He will partner either Atusaye Nyondo or Robin Ngalande in attack.

Joseph Kamwendo, who is good at set pieces, is another player who can carry the day for the Flames in N’djamena.

The winners of the tie will play either Benin or Sao Tome Principe. Benin produced a vital 2-0 victory in Sao Tome to take a big advantage into their home leg.
