Kips White in-form batsman Asam Chaudhry has vowed to break record by becoming the first player to hit a fourth half-century in the Inter-Club 20-overs Cricket Tournament as they face Right Price Purple in the semifinals at Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) on Sunday.

So far, the youthful pace-man, who made an individual contribution of 53 runs in the defending champions’ 198-76 run triumph over OCC in the quarter-finals last week, has a total score of 282 runs in four matches.
If he achieves his target, Chaudhry would emerge as the best batsman before the contest reaches the final stage.
“This has been a fantastic season for me,” said Chaudhry, who has also claimed seven wickets in the competition. “I have significantly upped my game and it is my desire to score at least a half-century in every match.”
Nevertheless, it will not be an easy task for White to unscrew the bolts and nuts from Purple’s hub. Among the teams that have reached the semi-final stage, Purple has proved to be one of the most improved outfits.
In another semi-final match, Mpingwe Sports Club (MSC) Orange take on OG Issa Blue. 
