Chazz partners Tio in a valentines’ single
A US-based Malawian duo Chazz Matazz (Chawezi Munthali) has cut a fresh pre-Valentine single Palibe in which he features Tiwonge Mhango of the Shine and Turn It Up fame.
The track is packed with Chichewa love lyrics against an easy afro R n B instrumentation.
Chazz, brains behind a TV soap Sweep that briefly appeared on MBCtv as well as Gimme Some Sugar track, did solo production on the new single.
Both artists are based in Atlanta and they reportedly came up with the Palibe single to compliment the pending Valentine’s fever with a local feel.
“Basically the track is a refresher as well as a gift to mother Malawi for 2013 and the love month of February,” said Chazz in a brief response.
On his part, Tiwonge said he could not hesitate to jump on the collabo with his homeboy.
“I just spiced Chazz’s single on the chorus, it’s been an incredible experience and I am sure this is the beginning of other projects with my man Chazz,” commented Mhango, citing that this was a first musical project with Chazz although Munthali made an appearance in Tiwonge’s Pamtetete video.
Both artists have a single solo album attached to their names thus Shine and Seven for Tiwonge Mhango and Chazz respectively.
