Chez Ntemba brings back Professor

The tongues have been wagging for some time. The rumours spread wider like wild fire in the savannah when the famed Blantyre entertainment hot spot, Chez Ntemba International, closed its doors on Monday. Was the club shutting down or relocating from the city centre?

The dance club entertainment manager DJ Bwanamkubwa allayed the fears, saying it is not going anywhere, but under refurbishment that will bring two dance floors to the night club.

And guess who will perform at the venue when it reopens to the public again on May 25?

“South African DJ Professor will be in the house once more, rocking the vibes. Our patrons have been asking for his comeback, and here it is,” said Bwanamkubwa.

The reputed spinner said the Lento and Jezebel artist, who gave fun-lovers an electric 45-minute treat last year, will be on tour with Fribane Manthe—who won Red Bull Dance competition last year—on the trip to light up Lilongwe as well.

On spot will be Ndefeyo Entertainment’s playlist: Maskal, Nthumwi Piksy, Armstrong and Biriwiri.
