Mlatho coach Bothwell Saka pleaded for competent refeeres.

“It’s a big game. Pride is also at stake. I am just appealing to organisers to allocate competent refeeres so that the best team can win. This will also help fans to watch good football, worth the battle.

“I am optimistic that with our current league form, we will sail through to the next stage. We also want to underline why we are at the top in the Chipiku league,” he said.

Kasungu Police coach Laston Phiri, on the other hand, said he is anticipating a tough game this afternoon.

“It will be a tough encounter my brother. Mponela are a good side and they have good and dedicated players. But we have the arsenal to excel,” he said.

Centra Region Football Association vice-general secretary Antonio Manda appealed to teams and supporters to observe discipline during the game.

“Let the best team win and my appeal to the refeeres is that they should not influence the result. They should discharge their duties in professional way,” he said.
