Set to join three fellow Flames internationals: Chiukepo

Burly forward Chiukepo  Msowoya is set to start a new lease of life at Mozambican top Mocambola League side Costa Do Sol which has offered him an outright contract.

Msowoya is set to join three fellow Flames internationals—Moses Chavula, Chimango Kayira and Jimmy Zakazaka—who signed two-year deals recently.

The player’s agent James Pondomale yesterday confirmed that he successfully negotiated for his client’s deal following the expiry of his contract at another top club Maxaquene.

“They [Costa Do Sol] have accepted to take Chiukepo on board although he was dogged by injuries last season.

“The good thing is that Costa Do Sol’s coach Arnaldo Salvado was Chiukepo’s coach at Maxaquene last season, so he has faith in him,” said Pondomale.

Chiukepo had a frustrating spell at Maxaquene due to injuries and scored just seven goals in all competitions.

Chiukepo had a brief stint at Escom United on the local scene. He also player for South African giants Orlando Pirates.
