DStv’s Zambezi Magic is today launching its first drama series licensed from the region—the exciting drama series from Malawi called Choices.

Choices is a drama series set in middle class Malawi. Four friends get together to provide support, listen to each other vent about life and love and have fun as they go through life’s trials and tribulations.

Said head of Zambezi Magic Addiel Dzinoreva: “We have been busy on the ground…from roundtables with local producers to recent call-outs for scripts. Don’t miss out, tune in from November 4 at 6 pm.

“We have content that our audiences are proud of and can also identify with. It gives us such a pleasure to be able to present this amazing line-up that will continue to reflect the stories and different lifestyles of Malawians.”

Since Zambezi Magic launched over four months ago, the channel has worked to ensure it galvanises the participation of local audiences and content providers.

Meanwhile, Zambezi Magic will on Sunday introduce Kuyamika – Voices of Praise programme and is calling for Malawi gospel music videos.

“Zambezi Magic has created a block of spiritual programming every Sunday morning, called Spiritual Sundays, starting at 8am with effect from this Sunday, which gives Malawi gospel artists another platform to showcase their beautiful music videos,” he said.

The block will start off with one hour gospel music show, Kuyamika – Voices of Praise, which will feature all the latest and classic gospel music videos. Then it will be followed by Zambezi Sunday Service, which are sermons from different churches from the Sadc region.

“We are urgently looking for church services sermons from Malawi and this will give DStv subscribers an opportunity to worship together with Malawi churches and pastors. We are requesting churches to contact us on how they will be featured. They will also be given two hours in the programme. We are also requesting Malawi gospel artists to bring their music videos so that they can be featured in the programme,” he explained.n
