Christ Living Church trains 60 leaders

Christ Living Church (CLC) has encouraged trainees, graduates and inducted leaders to understand spiritual issues contained in the Bible.

The call was made in Limbe last Saturday by the church’s senior pastor Ellen Nakanga Mlamba at the close of a three-day leadership training workshop which was followed by graduation and stewardship induction.

“For the past three days we had intensive training on church leadership from all our branches with two delegates each. We have graduated them and some have been inducted as pastors of the church at various branches,”

said Mlamba.

She said HIV and Aids is there and it is real that there is no medication and the only remedy is through life-prolonging drugs.

The senior pastor challenged her clergy to know the role of the prophet and refrain from uncalled for prophecies of death, saying that is not from God.

Retired Child Magistrate Court Judge Esmie Tembenu, who is now a gender child activist, advised government and church leaders that it’s high time they recognise women church ministers as tools in God’s work.

“Women need to be respected at all cost and participate in decision-making positions,” said Tembenu. n
