The Word of God Ministries International has organised the Christian Apologetics Conference slated for May 31 to June 1 2013 at MPC Conference Centre in Blantyre.

The conference has been organised in conjunction with Rapha Communications International and Bumas International.

The aim of the conference is to equip Christians in Malawi with the skills they need to defend their faith.

“This is an interdenominational gathering. We expect to have leaders of churches and para-church organisations from over 300 denominations,” said Pastor Edward Mikwamba, spokesperson of the Christian Apologetics Ministry in Malawi.

Mikwamba said lecturers and students of theological colleges, universities and other tertiary institutions are encouraged to attend the conference.

Participants are required to pay K12 000 that will go towards organising the event.

Mikwamba said participants will be registered for a USA online leadership and management website where they would be receiving materials for their ministries.

The main speaker at the conference is Dr Andre Immelmane, director and founder of Truth Sayer Foundation on Apologetics from South Africa.

There will also be presentations on leadership and management by Dr John C. Maxwell, a leadership expert.

Registration for the conference closes on May 24 2013. Those interested to attend the event can contact Mikwamba on mikwambaed@yahoo.com. He can also be reached on 0888 647 892 or 0999 240 293.
