The newly-elected chairperson of St Anthony Catholic Church, Feckson Kantonga, made the appeal last Sunday.

The mass was celebrated by Father Alfred Chaima.

Kantonga commended the faithful for their commitment towards the church construction project, but emphasised that external assistance would play a critical component in ensuring it is finalised on time.

“On behalf of the church council, I wish to appeal to Christians and well-wishers to contribute or help, in any way, in mobilising resources for the completion of this project,” said Kantonga.

He said the congregation will accept any form of donations and contributions towards the completion of the project.n
