Church gives a rousing send off to moderator

Saint Paul’s congregation of the CCAP Blantyre Synod in Chiwembe, on Sunday evening, gave a rousing send off, through a ‘Bring a dish’ get-together, to their moderator Reverend Baxton Maulidi who is among the 28 delegates to Pittsburg in United States of America on partnership mission.

Speaking in an interview, Rev Maulidi said he would take advantage of the trip to interact with committees of Gladden Congregation and see how they operate within the church.

“My mission is to strengthen the partnership between Saint Paul’s and Gladden Churches. We will ask members to visit their counterparts in Malawi,” said Rev Maulidi.

Rev Maulidi, who is also a gospel artist, said he would take the advantage of the trip to shoot his album while there.

“I will have time to showcase my music talents and shoot some videos while there,” he said.

The partnership relationship between Pittsburg and Blantyre Synod dates back in 1991.
