The students were recognised during a national secondary schools conference which Fountain of Victory hosted at the BAT ground last Saturday. The event, attracted a large number of students from Blantyre and surrounding districts.

Speaking when he presented awards to the students, Pastor Dominic Duwa who heads the youth ministry, popularly known as ‘the Christian gang’, said they decided to honour the students in recognition of their ability to apply the word of God in their studies.

“These students were impacted by the word of God preached in our different forums and they used it to excel in their studies; hence the need to encourage them to achieve greater heights,” said Duwa.

During the conference, many students surrendered their lives to Jesus after the preaching of the word of God by Apostle Joseph Ziba who also presented the awards to the outstanding students. n
