March 29 was Good Friday, the day Jesus Christ was crucified and nailed on the cross. The day is part of Easter celebrations when Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus. On Good Friday, Christians worldwide observe the Way of the Cross.

As part of the celebrations, Christians from Holy Ghost Catholic Church and Ndirande Anglican Church held a joint Way of the Cross in the city of Blantyre. The walk began from Holy Ghost Catholic Church and ended at Ndirande Anglican Church.—JAMES CHIMPWEYA, Staff Writer
