CIC ordains 16 pastors, consecrates 3 prophetesses

Christ-Citadel International Church (CIC) last Sunday ordained 16 pastors and consecrated three prophetesses.

Speaking during the ordination service at Area 47 CIC Sanctuary in Lilongwe, Bishop Joseph Ansah urged the clergy to continue serving God’s flock with dedication, commitment and humility.

“A leader must know how to rule his house and have his children under submission. If he does not know how to rule his house, how can he take care of the church of God?” Ansah asked.

Before the ordination service—which also marked the end of the church’s four-day annual convention—the pastors made covenant declaration to CIC spiritual leader, the church, covenant of servant leadership and to overcome mystery of lawlessness.

Fifteen of the 16 pastors are local while one, Carol Ndlovu, is from Bloemfontein CIC in South Africa.

The newly ordained local pastors are Bona Mjojo, Olive Nyaka, Gray Kapanga, Bright Kumwenda, Joseph Phiri, Isaac Bingala, William Banda, Donnex Chitsonga, Michael Chitsonga, Julius Mateteh, Tendai Ngoma, Clapperton Mayuni, Ellen Mgona, Chancy Gombwa and Clement Dairi.

The prophetesses who were consecrated are Alberta Kalenga, Grace Banda and Wezi Mjojo.

Speaking on behalf of the ordinates, Pastor Nyaka pledged commitment to God, His flock and the leadership of the church.
