Fans wishing to watch Saturday’s TNM Super League first-round meeting between Civo United and Mighty Wanderers will have to pay 100 percent more than the usual charges at Civo Stadium.

A seat at the open terraces in Lilongwe will cost K200 (about $0.08), up from K100 (about $0.04), Covered Stand is pegged at K1 000 (about $4), a rise from K500 while entry at the VIP Stand will cost K2 000 (about $8), a rise from K1 000.

Sulom general secretary Williams Banda confirmed the hike in the entry charges. “The home team will arrange adequate security for the game,” Banda said on Wednesday.

The Nomads, will after facing Civo, be hosted by Kamuzu Barracks FC the following day at the same stadium. Wanderers lead the standings on 17 points, two points ahead of third-placed Civo.

There are eight matches lined up in the Super League this weekend. Of late, the gate fees have been varying depending on the profile of the matches.
