Mafco coach, Lottie Chiumia, was positive about the result: “It was a good game, but we had a setback after our two key players, Loveness Sambo and Lennie Bandawe picked injuries.”

Civonets coach Connis Mhone said: “It was an easy game and we could have won all the quarters only that in the first quarter our shooters were not accurate, but they gave us a good day,” said Mhone.
