Clarification: Civil Servants salaries to delay

We refer to the lead story by our sister newspaper Weekend Nation on page 3 which said that civil servants’ salaries will [this month] delay and advise that this was an inadvertent error. The press statement quoted was just explaining why the civil servants’ salaries delay at times and not necessarily that they will delay. We sincerely apologise and regret for the error and the inconvenience it has caused.
