Windows are an important part of the house. They help let light into our rooms for us to know that another day has come. Windows help in disease prevention. When opened, windows help fresh air to circulate into a room.

Our windows also talk about our hygiene levels. A visitor’s eye falling on stains on your window panes may send a negative message about you.

Do it yourself (DIY) has a way of making it possible without using window cleaning chemicals. Environmentalists claim that some window cleaning chemicals have negative effects on the environment. In these days when climate change has become a hot topic, vinegar is one such chemical that the green activists claim offers non-toxic cleaning.

This is possibly the reason vinegar is gaining popularity because of its multiple uses. It does not come as a surprise, therefore, that www.wisebread.com has recorded over 254 uses of vinegar.

If you want to benefit from one of the 254 uses of vinegar by cleaning windows you require a bottle of vinegar, a clean soft cloth, for applying and cleaning and another clean soft cloth for drying the glasses. You also need a brush or duster to remove some dust from the windows.

First, remove the dust from the windows with the duster or brush. This reduces the effort of cleaning as the dust becomes difficult to remove once it gets wet.

Apply the vinegar on the cloth and start rubbing it on the windows. While the glass is still wet, dry it using the second cloth.

Repeat the procedure until all the glasses in your windows are done.

Remember to cover the window sill with old newspapers, but the newspaper should not be your treasured Nation On Sunday.

Also remember to clean all spills as soon as they occur to avoid making it difficult to remove once they dry up.

It is my hope that your windows will tell a good report about you because of their sparkle! I wish you a sparkling week.

If you want it perfectly done, do it yourself!
