Communities fault Ntcheu Police

Communities in Ntcheu have taken to task police officers for not responding to tips which could lead to arrests of suspected criminals. Speaking on Monday in Ntcheu during an interface meeting, group village head (GVH) Kandota said, as citizens, they have a role to play in ensuring that their lives and properties are protected at all times, “but police officers do not take heed of our tips”. The meeting was organised by the Malawi Human Rights Resource Centre (MHRC) with funding from Tilitonse.—Mana
