Countrywide Car Hire gives K1m to Friends of Limbani

Limbani_friendsCountrywide Car Hire has donated K1 million (US$2 427) to Friends of Limbani, an initiative set up to raise funds to support ailing veteran journalist Limbani Moya to travel to India for kidney transplant.  Moya was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2012 and has been receiving treatment at various hospitals in Malawi and South Africa. The medical bill is about K15 million (US$36 407.8). Speaking during the cheque presentation yesterday, Melody Sangu, Countrywide Car Hire head of sales and marketing, said the company is always proud to assist fellow Malawians.  Managing director for the company Mike Mlombwa urged other companies to assist those in need of help.
