Central Region Volleyball League (CRVL) on Sunday completed the list of the national finalists in the K3 million ($5,357) Raiply Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM) tournament.
Five teams qualified for the national stage after regional finals played at Lilongwe Community Centre Court.
Blue Eagles, Kamuzu Barracks, Lilongwe Spikers will represent the region in men’s category while Blue Eagles Ladies and Spikers made it in ladies category.
Kamuzu Barracks thumped Mipuniro Spikers 3-0 while Blue Eagles stunned Lilongwe Spikers with the same margin to sail through to the national finals.
LL Spikers then sneaked to the last three after beating Mipuniro Spikers 3-0 in the third-place battle.
The two-day national finals will be staged in Mzuzu at Katoto Sports Complex on November 13.
Moyale Barracks, Mzuzu University, Police Claws and Katoto Trickers will represent Northern Region while Katoto Trickers and Mzuzu Academy are ladies category flag-carriers.
Southern Region league has Poly Troopers, Thunders and Cobbe Barracks in men’s category while Blantyre Select will represent the region in ladies tourney. n
