Sunbird Capital has organised an African night for merrymakers in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe, Friday night.

According to Sunbird Capital hotel manager Oswald Bwemba, the night out will create a platform for people of different walks to meet and network while having fun and appreciating their cultural heritage.

“We are encouraging people of different nationalities to come and sample our traditional dishes. We want to position Sunbird Capital as a venue where clients can meet in a professional, comfortable environment that is both secure and presentable,” said Bwemba.

Top of the menu at the cultural feast will be sizzling traditional dishes and music from different countries.

There will be a disco by Kalimba lead vocalist Vita Chirwa and folk performances by Malawi National Dance Troupe, formerly Kwacha.

During the show a raffle draw will be conducted and lucky patrons will win free accommodation and meals at the hotel.
