Dan Lu in international music tour
Musician Dan Lu has embarked on an international tour to promote his latest songs featuring various foreign musicians.
The Sweet Banana hit maker said this at Mzuzu International Academy where he had an interactive session to inspire leaners on music as a career.
He said the tour started with a show in Cape Town, South Africa on May 27. Next week, he will be in Zambia before holding another show in Nigeria in July where he will perform together with Kcee and Flavour.
Dan Lu said he will wrap up the tour in December with performances in Ireland and England.
“The response in South Africa was awesome. Music lovers are getting to know about me because of the collaborations I did with Kcee and Flavour,” said Dan Lu.
He said such collaborations have helped him earn more fans from various countries where he goes for performances.
Dan Lu encouraged Mzuzu International Academy learners to take up music as a career.
Music tutor and musician TiwongeHango said music helps to develop expressive skills among learners.
“We need musicians who are learned and knowledgeable. An education helps musicians to stand and express themselves effectively on the world stage,” he said.
