Danish football coach Lars Jensen has identified three Be Forward Wanderers players for possible professional soccer careers at Denmark’s second division side Herfølge Boldklub.

However, the European trainer said the players’ identities will be revealed once he returns to his homeland.nomads

The coach, who is being hosted by his friend and Wanderers development officer Eddington Ng’onamo, was on Thursday spotted at Kamuzu Stadium’s VIP stand when the Nomads played against Red Lions in a TNM Super League match. Wanderers won 1-0.

“Of course, I have identified at least three players at Wanderers for possible trials in Denmark, but it is now too early to disclose their names,” he said.

According to Ng’onamo, whose friendship with Jensen began in 2003 when the former Flames mentor coached in Denmark, the Danish coach has told him he wants players that have great pace and excellent endurance.

“His target is players with great pace and energy. As you know, black people are naturally strong and he wants players with such natural-born talent in his squad,” he said.

Ng’onamo told The Nation yesterday that Jensen also conducted training sessions with the team for two days last week. n
