This is the fourth consecutive loss for Skippers to Sunshine.

Linda Kasenda put Skippers ahead in the 20th minute after Sunshine goalkeeper Alice Msiska failed to tame a searching cross from Chikondi Mtumodzi.

In the second half, Sunshine came with renewed purpose and levelled the scores in the 54th minute through Fanny Mwale who headed home a well taken corner kick by Gladys Malaisya.

Malaisya, who had a grand game, turned from provider to scorer in the 67th minute when she converted from a direct free kick to put the game at 2-1.

In post-match interview, Skippers assistant coach Vitumbiko Kamanga attributed the defeat to poor goalkeeping. She also had no kind words for senior players.

“There are some senior players who have an attitude problem and think they are bigger than the coaching panel. They don’t want to take instructions which is bad. It’s high time they changed their attitude,” he said.

His Sunshine counterpart Andrew ‘Aluki’ Chikhosi, praised his players for their fighting spirit and playing according to instructions.
