DD Sunshine Senior sign American player

DD Sunshine Senior women football club has taken the sport to another level by signing a striker from United States of America (USA).

The new signing is left-winger Mellisa Krnjaic from Washington DC.

Krnjaic is working at Bayaor College of Medicine, which is under Grassroots Soccer Project that deals with HIV and Aids education.

“We are working with DD Sunshine players Linda Kasenda and Chisomo Kadzisonga who inspired me to join them. I feel great to be part of the team. I am expecting to gain a lot from them as they are the giants in the country,” said Krnjaic.

She said she was playing for Dartmouth University in America which plays in Vision Schools League.

Kasenda described the new catch as a hard-working player and that they are benefiting a lot from her contribution in the wings.
