DJ Chill dangles disco equipment

Carlsberg Malawi Limited has announced a mega prize of disco equipment for this year’s winner of Chill DJ competition which rolls into action on Friday at Club Mustang Sally in Blantyre.

Responding to a questionnaire on how they have planned this year’s competition, Carlsberg’s corporate communications officer  Towera Munthali said they have upped the game by introducing an ultimate prize of disco equipment to the winner.

“Basically, we have planned Chill DJ Competition as a national contest where DJs representing the North, Centre and South will compete in DJ battles. As a brand, Carlsberg has set aside a brand new disco equipment as the grand prize which will be given to the winner to help them use as a business. The runner up will also cart home K 1 million,” she said.

The best two DJs from the Friday event will compete in the grand finale in July.

Munthali said the Chill DJ Competition is a platform for Malawian DJs to showcase their skills and benefit from the prizes on offer to further their talent and business.

“We will be running a promotion at each Chill DJs competition where consumers who buy forum Chill and get an instant prize,” she said.

The Chill DJ competition has been running since 2013. n
