“DJ Queen Agnes is currently in the country for charity work. One of the projects is in Embangweni in Mzimba where she has opened a nursery school,” said DJ Flexor, the artist’s manager.

The shows DJ Queen Agnes has organised in Malawi aim at raising at money to support her charity work.

“DJ Queen Agnes has travelled all the way from USA to Malawi to trace her roots and support fellow Malawians. It is in support of the same idea that Queen Agnes is working with Basement Club to host Bank Alert: All Green Bash.

“Bank Alert is a common word used to describe that situation when one has money in his or account. We want people in Blantyre to party with the Queen on this day.

“The DJ would like to interact with business people, DJs and musicians,” DJ Flexor said.

DJ Queen Agnes’ mission is also to support and empower female DJs in the country to bridge the gap of the country’s entertainment industry which is dominated by male DJs.
