The hitmaker of God Will Make a Way, As We Worship You and Celebrate Jesus will be joined by a host of local and international artists during performances scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Lilongwe.

Other artists include United States’ (US) Dave Lubben, Kamuzu Barracks Choir, Great Angels, Faith Mussa and the Love Malawi Choir.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, the festival’s coordinator, the Reverend Grey Mwalabu, said there are a number of activities lined up for children and the youth as well.

“We will have 15 jumping castles and 15 games for children for them to know that they can still have fun at church. We will share the word with them and the idea is to mould them into God-fearing leaders.

“There is also going to be a puppet show by Duggie Dug which is quite new for children of today. Knowing the majority of the country’s population is the youth and children, wewill have extreme sports like motorbike and bicycle action. All these will take place on the two days,” he said.

The Love Malawi Festival is an evangelism aimed at fostering unity, hope and love and is being led by preacher Andrew Pilau.

The festival, being managed by Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM), is also running a number of side activities, including preaching sessions by international evangelists, a donation of 10 000 pieces of eye glasses, 400 footballs and 3 000 pairs of shoes to orphans and street kids.
