Dossani Trust sponsors 10 golf teams

Dossani Trust has sponsored 10 golf teams to the tune of K500 000 to take part in today’s fundraising event at Mulanje Golf Club in aid of Mulanje Mission Hospital.
Trustee Harish Kanabar said his trust decided to sponsor the teams because it was for a good cause of raising money to buy equipment and beddings.

“We have sponsored 10 teams to take part in Sunday’s fundraising golf tournament for Mulanje Mission Hospital to buy medical equipment and beddings,” said Kanabar.
Tony Chiwaya, who is the convener, said this is not the first time Mulanje Golf Club has organised such a fundraising event for the hospital in the past five years.
“This year, we are doing it on Sunday for the ante-natal ward where we intend to buy 16 beddings, monitoring equipment for mothers, drip stands, drug examination trolleys, clinical examinations lights and a Doppler foetal rate monitor,” said Chiwaya.
