“Police arrested the 11 suspects. The illegal immigrants revealed to police that they have been locked in the house in Dzaleka Refugee Camp since October 5 2017 and they have been given food inside the house by a certain unknown man,” said Kaponda.

He said the suspects were on their way to South Africa to seek employment.

The suspects are aged between 16 and 26 and they have been remanded to Maula Prison for further investigations which may lead to arrest the trafficker.
