DStv announces early access to soapies

Digital television provider DStv has introduced an opportunity for its customers to have early access to their favourite soapies and programmes.

In a statement, DStv says the decision came as part of its commitment to enhance viewing experience and convenience.

According to the statement, customers can watch their favourite programmes early through Catch Up on the DStv app or by connecting their DStv Explora to the Internet.

“There, they will find a row titled Early Access with shows available to watch before they air on their respective channels,” reads the statement in part.

In a separate interview, MultiChoice Malawi managing director Gus Banda said they are excited with the new development.

“Early Access is important as it will help add value as we understand the importance of constantly elevating the viewing experience for our customers and providing them with more choices,” he said.

Some of the soapies and programmes lined up for Early Access are The Legacy, The River and Love Island UK.n
