MultiChoice Malawi says Malawians will be able to watch the Queens in action at the Fast5 Netball World Series as the matches will be beamed live on SuperSport.

The Queens and South Africa’s Proteas will, once again, represent Africa at the six-team tournament to be staged at the Melbourne Arena in Australia from this Saturday to Sunday.

The other participating teams are holders England, last year’s runners-up Jamaica, hosts Australia and New Zealand.

MultiChoice Malawi marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda said all the matches will be beamed on SuperSport 9 and in high definition on SuperSport 10.

Malawi Queens will play the opening match against the hosts which will throw off at 4.45am on Saturday. Their second match will be against England three hours later while their last match of the day will be against Jamaica at 9.15am.

On the second day, Malawi will face South Africa at 3.15am before lining up against New Zealand at 6.15am

Said Nyirenda: “As MultiChoice Malawi, we are happy once again to beam all matches live from Australia. We are more pleased that this year we will beam the Fast 5 Netball Tournament to all DStv customers from DStv Access which is only K7 600 per month.

“We will broadcast the matches in both standard definition on SuperSport 9 and in high definition on SuperSport 10. We are aware that the matches will be played mostly in early morning hours local time and our customers can use the DStv Explora to record and then watch later at their own convenient time or on DStv Catch-up to catch the highlights of the tournament.”

The Queens finished at the bottom after losing all their five games last year and will be looking forward to improving on their performance.
