It has taken Zaniku seven months to complete production of the album.

Zaniku: I have experienced the love of Jesus

It comprises 12 songs woven in country and Western plus an element of blue grass genre with soulful sounds.

“I had to take my time and produce the best since this is my first album. I know how competitive the gospel market is. I had to come up with something special and different and more appealing,” said Zaniku.

All the songs are about unwavering dependence on Jesus Christ.

The title track Duwa Lopambana is referring to Christ’s faithfulness.

“Jesus is a flower that never withers and we can call on him any time despite our sins. He is ready to forgive and give us a new start in life. Jesus is always dependable. My message to the people is to depend on Jesus no matter the situation. He will make a way for you,” said Zaniku of his new album.

“There is also this track titles Sindizasunthidwa very melodious and soothing to the ear but with a strong message on the faithfulness of Christ.

“It is a personal commitment and vow that my faith in Jesus will never be shaken no matter what. I have experienced the love of Jesus and I know what I can achieve through him. This song is like a testimony and I assure people out there never to despair but believer in Christ,” said Zaniku.

He will perform with a full five-man band complete with three backing vocalists.

The album was recorded at Ituma Production in Blantyre by Greshom Mokwena and Chambota Chirwa.

“We took our time because we wanted everything to be perfect. We wanted to make music tha can be lasting in appeal not just to make noise,” said Chirwa.
