Dzaleka UN eye finish on second position

Dzaleka UN FC are eyeing to finish second in Division II of the K3.2 million Central Region Football League (CRFL).

The Dowa-based team, comprising asylum seekers, is currently on third position with 88 points from 39 games. They are trailing Namitete Young Rangers, who have played 41 games with a two-point gap.

Dzaleka need to win their remaining two games at the weekend if they are to finish as runners-up. They will host Nsanama United on Saturday and Falls Nazarene on Sunday.

Namitete Young Rangers will wrap up the league on Sunday with Dzenza Strikers. If they win, they will finish on 93 points.

Dzaleka coach Jack Suleman said they are looking forward to finishing as runners-up.

“We missed the first position and we cannot afford to lose the second. We will go flat out and the boys are geared to collect all full points in both games,” said Suleman.

In the Premier Division, Airborne Rangers and Support Battalion are fighting for third position.
