E-Wallet ends Monday night

The E-Wallet talent show comes to the end on Monday after nearly half a year of separating the real deal from chaff.

Now it is official that only five will be in contention when the music and dance finale kicks off at Sunbird Capital in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe, on the New Year Eve. 

In the latest eviction episode at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre, Floor Steppers overstepped The Elements in the dance category while Mzuzu-based potential winner Goma Nyondo missed in action.

The survivors—Wakhumbachi Kalua, Guise Pemba, Taonga Kanthungo and Mickliner Monyo— are in the run for the K500 000 cash prize and a lucrative recording deal sponsored by MultiChoice Malawi.  The show will star Patience Namadingo, Ice Jay, Trumel and Madalitso Ngoleka.  In the pictures are some of the names to watch. —JAMES CHAVULA, Staff Writer
