E-Wallet kicks off in Lilongwe

The E- Wallet Talent search for 25 participants that would compete for the National Championship of the event continues in Lilongwe this Sunday at Sunbird Capital.

A similar event took place last Sunday in Mzuzu City with auditions. Sunbird Mzuzu provided accommodation while transport was provided by National Bus Company.

The rendezvous was Kaning’ina Hall where both vocal and dance gymnastics took centre stage in the talent search marathon.

According to E-Wallet’s project coordinator Anthony Kafuwa, the turn up was impressive.

“It was quite amazing to see so many people coming for the auditions. Suffice to say, the talent search was so competitive in Mzuzu,” he said.

Pop star Tigris, an alumni of the E-wallet herself, was scrutinising bits and pieces of talent as a judge during the auditions alongside Mzuzu based Manase Chisiza.

Successful candidates are expected to be announced on August 22 2012.
