Enoh returns with Overdose

Gospel artist Enoch Kabuli popularly known as ‘Mwana wa Igwe’ has announced the release of his second album titled Overdose.

The Lilongwe-based artist said he is excited about the new project, whose singles are already enjoying airplay on various radio stations.

 

“People should expect inspiring songs from my album. I was out of limelight for three years and I used this time to perfect my art and mature as an artist,” he said.

The artist said the album will be officially launched later this year.

The Kontolora hitmaker described the album as an embodiment of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“The album has a message of hope that it shall be well. It carries spiritually uplifting songs that are appealing to all age groups,” he said.

On the album, Enoh has collabolated with Rudo Mkukupa-Chakwera, Madela and Kalawe.

Meanwhile, the artist has announced a competition for his fans on his Facebook page.

The competition requires his fans to record at least a 40 seconds video clip of themselves singing the second verse of his track Pakala Pakala.

“Of course, I want to inspire my fans and see if they follow my songs; they will stand a chance of winning airtime,” he said.

He said the songs will be made available on various online sites, radio and televisions stations.

Some of the songs on the album are Wachepera Kaba, and Tatopa Nazo.

Before he went into hibernation, the musician released his album Daivala in 2014. Some of the popular tracks in the album include Taoloka, Ndi Ambuye, and Ambuye Akhalemo. n
