Escom United coach Charles Manda has described their victory against Moyale Barracks last week, which was Escom’s first TNM Super League win this season as a stepping stone to recovery.
The electricians, who beat Moyale Barracks 1-0 at the Mzuzu Stadium, have been struggling to find a winning formula until Kelvin Haganda’s goal secured them the three points.
Manda told Malawi News Agency (Mana) that their victory was a road to recovery. He praised his boys for a job well done.
“Our victory against Moyale will instil confidence in the boys. Our main focus now is to win at least two games so that we move away from the bottom of the table,†said Manda.
Escom’s next assignment is on Sunday against Kamuzu Barracks at Balaka Stadium.
