ETC Agro Tractors, sloe authorized dealers of Auto major Mahindra Rise on Friday unveiled Mahindra next generation of commercial and sporty vehicles cars in a glittering road show on the in the streets of Lilongwe.

Some of the vehicles showcased were Scorpio SUV Sport Utility, Scorpio Single cab, Scorpio double cab, Alfa passenger, Alfa Load, Maxximo Van and Maxximo Load Plus Alfa Passenger, Alfa load.

“Mahindra’s SUV’s are manufactured with a typical rough and tough sporty material. SUV’s are built to maneuver on slushy and off-terrain environments,” said Workshop Manger Madalisto Kampani of the new Scorpio SUV.

Some of the new features include more muscular and aggressive front bumper, bigger front grille with a chromed central tooth, projector type headlights with integrated LED blinkers. Completely redesigned rear view mirrors that can now be adjusted electrically, new body cladding with smoother surface and ‘Scorpio’ embossed on the cladding on the rear door.

The new Scorpio is available with the 2.2 Litre mHawk engine only.

The 2.6 Litre engine is being discontinued.

Maxximo Plus payload mini-truck logy and gives customer an option to choose between higher power (26 HP; 19.2 kW) OR higher mileage (21.9 KMPL), at the press of a switch.

” Maxximo Plus has longer wheelbase and a stronger 7-leaf rear suspension , which makes it more sturdy under heavy load and over rough roads. The new Maxximo Plus also comes with a two year or 60 000 km warranty. Apart from these, the new Maxximo Plus has features which give superb comfort, style and safety.

He said, the market target is business people and also who can use these cars for hire.

ETC also showcased the Alfa Passenger Three-wheeler the first vehicle in its segment which is truly designed and developed for customers according to Kampani.

The Alfa Passenger is can be used ether to transfer goods from warehouses or as a passenger carrier.
