At the apex of creating music memories, Mussa was among African stars that performed at the just-ended Sauti Za Busara, one of East Africa’s biggest music and cultural festivals.

Now back home, Mussa is relieving the memories of his appearance in Stone Town, Zanzibar in Tanzania which is a dream come true.

“I had one of my highlights as a one-man band at the Sauti Za Busara. It was a great stage and amazing platform for interaction with different sectors of music,” he said.

Having lived his dream, he is focusing on exploiting opportunities that have come from the festival.

“If I am going again, it will be after three years so that I can fully utilise all contacts I made there and give a chance to other artists to be featured on this big platform. Besides, Sauti za Busara has opened doors for me in East Africa and Australia now. I will use this time to exploit all those opportunities,” added Mussa.

According to media reports, Mussa was one of the highlights of the 2019 edition of the festival.

Prior to his two-day performance at Sauti za Busara, Mussa was in the Hague, Netherlands as part of a group of young innovators from across the globe who are creating artistic works to foster access to justice in their countries.

“I had a chance to present on the role of music in access to justice and how I have been using it in my country,” he said.
