Artist of the moment, Faith Mussa has announced plans to launch his Mdidi album at Hotel Victoria in Blantyre.

The move follows the successful launch of the album in Lilongwe on August 4 at Bingu International Convention Centre (Bicc).

In a video clip shared on his social media page, Mussa said he will launch the album in Blantyre on December 1.

Mussa: It will be nice to finish the year in Malawi

“What’s up Malawi, this is Faith Mussa. I am in Copenhagen Denmark right now, going to Norway to complete the tour. But on the 1st of December, remember we are going to be at Victoria Hotel in Blantyre. We had an amazing time in Lilongwe, now we are looking forward to an amazing time in Blantyre,” said Mussa in part.

In an interview later, Mussa said he has always wanted to give Blantyre a nice treat.

“We love giving surprises. We surprised Lilongwe fans. Blantyre should expect even a better surprise,” he said.

Mussa said his international tours are always a learning experience.

He said: “It will be nice to finish the year in Malawi after a long international tour like I have. I have been touring as a one-man band and that will also feature at the Blantyre concert in a special way. People should just expect to be wowed. It will be nice.”

Mussa’s manager Sam Chiwaka said for the Blantyre launch, they have maintained the same production team they used in Lilongwe and that Blantyre fans should expect a stellar performance.

“Faith will share the stage with The Mussa Family just like he did in Lilongwe. As for the other supporting artists, we have changed but we will keep their identity a surprise,” he said.

On Mussa’s current Scandinavian Tour, Chiwaka said everything is going on well.

“On Sunday night he was in Bergen at the Bergen International Music Festival. Then he will go to Oslo, Norway to finish off his tour,” he said.

The album launch will be hosted by fellow artist Patience Namadingo who confirmed his participation as the host of the show.
