Fam dangles K100 000 for each Flames player
In a bid to motivate the Flames to give out something extra and turn the tables against Benin on Saturday, FAM is dangling a K100 000 each Flames player should they qualify for the group stages of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifiers.
The Flames still get K30 000 game bonus for a win but Football Association of Malawi (FAM) president Walter Nyamilandu said today the Flames stand to get three times more if they sail through.
“It is a swim-or-sink encounter and it is long time Malawians saw their team beat big opponent at Kamuzu Stadium. So, we would want to revive memories of those good old days when we were good enough to floor such continental giants such as Egypt and Togo,” said Nyamilandu.
