“We will also devise a plan on the upcoming qualifier against Zimbabwe in June as well as the Cosafa Cup,” he said.

Mtawali said the meeting is crucial as it provides him and his backroom staff an opportunity to make recommendations on the way forward based on the performance of the team in recent games.

“Basically, we will give a detailed report on the recent matches and suggestions on the way forward,” he said.

FAM president Walter Nyamilandu, who is also a member of the committee, said the meeting will also discuss the ongoing Fifa/FAM Under-15 League, future of Surestream Academy and other youth football developments.

“Training and certification process of coaches will also be part of the agenda as we enforce minimum qualification standards of Super League, regional and youth leagues,” he said.
