Fatima to attend Nando bash
Former Malawian Big Brother Africa The Chase representative Fatima Nkata will join six other ex-chasemates in Tanzania for a birthday of one of that country’s former housemate Nando.
She is expected to leave Malawi for Tanzania on October 3.
Elaborate birthday celebrations have become the latest trend as the Chasemates capitalise on the BBA wave to reunite on a different platform.
After BBA winner, Dillish Matthew’s flamboyant birthday party earlier last week that saw her receive a car, among other gifts, ex-Tanzanian housemate Ammy Nando has revealed that his impending birthday party will be for 10 straight days.
Last week Botswana’s Motamma celebrated her birthday and next to throw a born day bash is Ghana’s Selly who has invited Malawi’s Natasha Tonthola to enjoy with her in Accra. But, Natasha is yet to confirm her attendance.
On the other hand, Fatima has confirmed that she will be among ex-chasemates who will attend Nando’s birthday bash in Dar es Salaam next month.
Coincidentally, Nando and Fatima were born a day apart with the Tanzanian birthday on October 9.
“My going to Tanzania to participate in the activities he has put together within the 10 day period of both our birthdays is a step towards pushing the One Love, One Blood and One Africamovement,” Fatima said.
She added that it will also give ex-chasemates a platform to further the dialogue they have been having since the end of the show on how best to contribute to the movement.
So far, the housemates that are scheduled to attend the bash are South Africa’s Angelo, Hakeem from Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone’s Bolt, Nigeria’s Beverly, Annabel from Kenya and Ethiopia’s Bimp, the man who initiated the movement.
