FDH Financial Holdings last week presented certificates of recognition and presents to 64 employees who have served the company for more than 10 years at a function held at the company’s head office in Blantyre.
The group’s head of human resources, Chrispin Chikwama said the initiative aims to appreciate members’ staff service render to the company.
“The Long Service Awards are part of our initiatives that focus on employee development because we celebrate and appreciate the contribution that employees are making to the company.
“We love to see our employees indeed grow with us and Long Service Awards manifest our passion towards this growth,” he said.
One of the awardees, Mwayi Mkandawire, who has worked under FDH Bank Plc for 10 years said the award is motivation and shows that the company is recognising their effort.
She said: “It feels great to be part of this bank, I am excited about this achievement.”
During the event, the employees who served for 20, 15 and 10 years also received K200 000, K150 000 and K100 000 respectively.
