Speaking during the cheque presentation, FDH Bank Marketing Manager Ronald Chimchere said the bank felt obligated to support CIM because of the remarkable role it plays in promoting the country’s economic development.

“CIM is an important and one of the biggest bodies of professionals in Malawi in that it brings together professionals in not only the marketing profession but also other players in various sectors of the financial industry to share ideas and contribute to the economic development of this country. This year’s theme is well suited in our current economic status,” he said.

CIM President Golden Banda said FDH Banks has been a true partner to marketers.

Banda said: “The conference will focus on serious issues that have affected the economy of the country. Malawi has experienced post-election demonstrations last year, elections this year and now there is Covid-19 situation which has affected many businesses.

“We believe during the conference we will come up with a new way of doing businesses.”
