FDH Bank splashes prizes in Wamkaka promo
FDH Bank plc on Wednesday conducted the third draw of its Wamkaka Promotion. The promotion was launched to celebrate the country’s national team The Flames for qualifying for the continental Africa Cup of Nations finals.
In an interview after the draw, FDH Bank plc senior manager for personal and business banking Maureen Nalikungwi said the Malawi Stock Exchange-listed bank received overwhelming response from its customers.
She said: “The other aim of this promotion is to encourage customers to save and we have seen it happening which confirms that Malawians are embracing a saving culture.
“We are running an inclusive promotion where we are not leaving out any of our customers; hence, the incorporation of bags of fertiliser, replica jerseys and zitenje as prizes.”
During the draw, one customer walked away with K300 000 monthly prize. The bank also gave K50 000 to 20 winners, bags of fertiliser, Flames replica jerseys and FDH Bank branded zitenje as consolation prizes.
To enter the promotion, which runs up to August 31 this year and stand a chance to win K5 million grand prize, a customer needs to maintain a minimum balance of K50 000 in the savings account for at least a month.
